About client

eHealthy was founded by private practice physicians to bring together best-in-class medical office, surgery facility, and patient advocacy resources. What began as a collaboration among select medical providers to share resources has evolved into a full-suite platform. Today, eHealthy streamlines operations in medical centers, allows patients to find top-rated specialists and conveniently book a visit online, and automates crucial processes for physicians.

Client’s request

Our client shared their vision of a platform that could bridge the gap between patients and healthcare providers, ultimately leading to the delivery of exceptional medical services. As a proof of value, they first wanted to build an MVP with dashboards, profiles, and integrated chats for each party (physician, patient, and facility).

Solution

After successfully creating the MVP and demonstrating the software’s effectiveness, our collaboration has progressed further. We continue to work on integrating essential features that cater to the needs of patients, doctors, and medical facilities, with a goal to improve healthcare all around.

We developed web portals that support multiple users involved in healthcare: medical facilities, physicians, consultants, and patients.

The portals’ core purpose is to ensure smooth communication among all parties to prevent misunderstandings, lost information or documents, procedure delays, and redundant tasks.

To promote the solution, we also built two separate websites. One was created so patients could discover eHealthy and the best-in-class doctor network it provides. Another is targeted at facilities to display the platform’s robust functionality and share useful resources for medical centers.

Dedicated development team

We’ve assembled a team of 9 specialists that design, build, and test the new functionality, and support existing users.

Personalized physician matching algorithm for Patient portal

The eHealthy platform was integrated with a smart doctor recommendation system, empowered by advanced Gen AI models, to elevate the patient experience. This feature is designed to interpret patient inquiries, regardless of their form or level of detail, ensuring seamless access to the most suitable physicians.

If a patient enters a seemingly colloquial or incomplete request the system deciphers the underlying need for an appointment on the specified day and time. It then conducts a comprehensive search to identify available slots, effectively bridging the gap between patient requirements and physician availability.

Surgical team optimization for Facility portal

The surgical team optimization feature addresses the prevalent challenge of staffing shortages within healthcare, particularly impacting surgery centers. We created this feature after seeing how time-consuming it is to plan surgeries, particularly for new administrators or schedulers with limited institutional knowledge.

This feature streamlines the scheduling process by leveraging integrated AI models to optimize the assignment of surgical teams. When a surgery is scheduled, the system analyzes past data, identifying historical pairings between surgeons and anesthesiologists, along with their performance during specific operations, thus significantly reducing the time and effort required for administrators and schedulers to coordinate surgical procedures.
