Web development for a leading mobile operator
Over the years, our client witnessed repetitive flaws in how their marketing team launched campaigns while struggling through a number of human errors and failing to increase campaign effectiveness.
So our client came up with an idea to develop custom software with tools that would allow the marketing team to flawlessly orchestrate their tasks related to planning, creating, executing, and reporting on campaigns. The software would eliminate a series of human errors and automate the majority of repetitive tasks.
The built-in analytics layer was the client’s special request for monitoring and reporting campaign results.
For starters, we held several rounds of interviews with business users to learn about their challenges, complaints, and objectives when launching different campaigns. With many factors to consider, we described, designed, and developed a web-based application facilitating in-team coordination and communication with external vendors.
By streamlining information exchange, moderation, and approvals, the freshly built solution made it possible to scale marketing experiments with involvement of external vendors.
For the technical implementation, we used Python/Django on the back end and Angular.js on the front end. When working on the platform design, we followed our client’s corporate style guide.
