About the project

Our collaboration with the client’s team started long before they came up with the idea for SAPI. Together, we had already developed a loyalty app allowing customers to buy everyday products or services in bulk and in advance from local providers in exchange for a discount. When our client’s team developed the SAPI concept, they again chose Globaldev Group as their tech partner.

Solution

The SAPI team had the idea of developing a loan product-as-a-service platform that would enable SAPI partners to offer a white-label financial product to their business clients. While helping business clients grow their ecosystems, SAPI partners would earn a share of revenue. To bring this idea to life, the SAPI team wanted to develop a platform comprising three parts: borrower functionality, back-office loan management functionality, and a reporting dashboard. They entrusted Globaldev with the development of the back office for loan management and a reporting dashboard that would summarize information to partners and investors.

Dedicated development team

Globaldev Group assembled a team of 10+ specialists to write product requirements, create designs for web and mobile platforms, and develop the back-office loan management functionality and reporting dashboard.

Back-office loan management functionality

The platform contains a set of administrative workspaces and relevant features for lenders to manage and track borrowers’ loans.
Origination workspace
Verified users can create new applications and see application details, change application terms, or cancel applications. From here, users can export loan details, send loan applications for approval, and browse the history of interactions with applicants.
Servicing workspace
In this workspace, users can browse loan lists, restructure or roll over loans, and log payments. There is also broad functionality for managing payment promises and repayment suppression.
Tools workspace
Users can browse all blacklists and borrower lists and import payment details to keep loan history in one place. They can also export loan data and migrate loans, adding them to existing customers.
System workspace
In the system workspace, users with the highest permission level can browse internal user accounts, deactivate users, or add new users. They can also manage general and due date notifications as well as documents.
Underwriting workspace
Working in the underwriting workspace, users can initiate application reviews by sending applications for processing. Here, applications are accepted, rejected, or canceled. They can also be sent for a secondary review or added to a blacklist.
Collection workspace
In the Collection workspace, verified platform users can browse loan lists and see loan details. Users can write off loans and manage action plans for specific loans in the Action Plan tab (date, action type, details).
Tasks workspace
Based on their roles, platform users can browse task lists and apply filtering and sorting, or use a search option on the list page. Users can see task details, change task statuses, and browse notes.

Reporting dashboard

The reporting dashboard presents key application and loan distribution indicators that give an at-a-glance view of overall performance.
Summary
Showcases general information via six main blocks with statistics and colorful graphs. Users can choose a period for which data and graphs are displayed.
Loans
Users can search for borrowers by ID or name and view loan details to see general information (borrower name, loan status, loan fee, outstanding balance, etc.) and transaction information.
Payouts
The payout screen shows general information about loans (borrower name, loan status, loan fee, outstanding balance, etc.), graphs, statistics, and payout details so that investors and partners can make decisions based on provided data.
Applications
Verified users can search for loan applications and browse application details. They can also browse the interaction history attached to every application.
Borrowers
Users can search for borrowers by ID and name and are redirected to the borrower details page to view a borrower’s general information (borrower name, loan status, loan fee, outstanding balance, etc.) and loan history.

Reporting dashboard user entities

Investor
An Investor has access to all information on the Summary, Applications, Loans, Borrowers, and Payouts screens and across all partners associated with the Investor.
Partner
A Partner, associated with a specific Investor, has access only to all partner-level information. They cannot view data related to other Partners associated with the same Investor.
